Mi Monterrey

Mi Monterrey was nice. They are inside a shopping plaza in downtown Morehead with large parking lot...plenty of parking! I met friends for dinner, their suggestion, this was my first time. Upon being seated, served large bowl of chips and each of us received small bowl of salsa. That was nice. We joked we could double dip. Our server was very attentive. Always checking if everything ok and if we needed anything else. I had the Special Miguel $8.99. Quesadilla stuffed with steak tips, grilled onions and mushrooms. Served with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. (copied from their website). Steak tips (or steak strips or shreadded) was tender. My meal was good but little on dry side. Next time I'll ask for extra sour cream. I dipped the quesadilla bites in my salsa toward end of meal. Restaurant was nice, couple of tv's; full bar; I didn't really look around for cleanliness, I was enjoying time with friends too much.

Service was fast and very friendly. The food is the best in town. My child who is a very very picky eater even liked it.
